a new story D:

my friend challenged me to write up three chapters of a story by the 10th of December. i don't usually back down from a challenge so yeah. thought you guys might want to read it too (: its also on my deviant page: www.bp-wolf.deviantart.com

well, here is the prologue. its short because it's well, a prologue. i couldnt think of a title so the name is a bit weird XD

The Lake of Ness –PROLOGUE


Robert Magin stood at the edge of the lake. It was midnight, and the icy fingers of fog began to settle around him. The others had left long ago, driven back by the cold. He was the only one now, determined to see the serpent that supposedly called this place home; the Loch Ness Monster. Robert brushed a few droplets of water off his ginger beard then shrugged deeper into his dark coat. His gloved hand pulled out a pair of binoculars and pressed them against his eyes. The view was black momentarily, then turned a ghostly green as the night vision clicked into place. The water was eerily calm, a murky brown that hid its secrets well. The man sighed then went to check on his special camera. As his back was turned, a movement rippled through the water. Robert spun around, suddenly excited and terrified at the same time to the change. He moved behind his camera, focusing on the growing waves. The Scottish landscape seemed to move in the fog, blurring everything except the waves rising in the water. A nervous smile crept onto Robert’s face. This was the moment he had dreamed about for 15 years. Many had given up long ago, but not him. Adrenaline pumped through his veins and he no longer felt the cold. The camera was set to ‘multiple’ mode so he could take many pictures in the space of a couple of seconds. A noise behind him made him stir, but he brushed it off as another investigator. Robert picked up the camera now, his hands shaking in delight. A glowing shape cut through the water, rising rapidly to the surface. The camera went off, capturing every movement that the shape was taking. A hand tugged at his jacket and the camera dropped out of his hand. Robert looked down and let out a silent scream as the camera took one last shot of his body and the glittering shape behind him.

what do you think? its been over a year since i first thought out howler, and yet i still havnt started ;A; ill get to it one day. oh, and im starting it again, which is why i havnt posted it here. and i finished a picture today. its made on paint.NET and its of my pokemon character. i found out lots of effects that i didnt know existed, but it didnt suit the pic so the background has been edited heaps XD i drew the lineart in about 10-15 mins so thats why the anatomy is off. not that im any good at anatomy anyway.

tomorrow i have PE. buts its different from our normal education.

cause the students will organise everything!

we have to split until we get a group of eight that has at least 3 girls and must be all in your class. and sport.

then we get a role in the group and a name and colour.

and i have to make a blog.

but it takes up all of my internet credit ._.

and alas, i have no red clothes to wear. i have something tight, but i prefer something loose and airy. ah well.

i have my laptop back. i am so very happy. except all my files were deleted. quite sad, until i began realising most of my photos/pics were on my phone and mp3.

ah, the joy.

just a short post

ok, so when i said crappy pieces, i meant the ones where i said i had no idea what i was doing. found some tutorials on deviantart and voila! instant knowledge. i also somehow managed to make the shading half decent. ah shizenhousen. it wont load up. dammit. ok so um, ill upload them next time. something about being corrupted. ._. took me almost 3 hours to do as well.

and im hopefully getting my laptop back tomorrow!!! :D

how long has it been? 7 weeks? ugh. but i really hope its worth it.

ah, yeah. i havnt posted anything for a long time.

mainly cause im a lazy bum.

and cause i STILL dont have my laptop back. i imagine it is lying under 3 tonnes of paperwork, forgotten. alone. WELL I HAVNT FORGOTTEN YOU!!

oh, and cause of school.

today i learned about cheese in this school for kids who are, how do you say it? slow? disadvantaged? you know what i mean. no disrepect either. ah, the smell of grilled cheese. someone stole my drink bottle as well. the room was 'locked', but when we came in, everything was moved.

i also couldnt turn my head cause my neck really hurt.

and there is also the sombrero galaxy out there. quite funny.

anyway, i dunno what im gonna post up next, or when, so yes. just wanted you all to know that i love you all for following me. and im starting howler again. but i dunno how.

and it was my birthday on saturday. forgot bout that. dad ate all my cake. plus his cake that we bought for him. and im 15.

ok, so i shall come on this on the weekend, and hopefully post something up. maybe my crappy skills with a tablet. it feels so weird with one.
